The day after Thanksgiving, my housemate, Tim, told me that I reminded him of a cinnamon roll.
Now, most girls would probably take offense by such a comment; after all, cinnamon rolls aren’t known for their fit figures.
But I was delighted.
They may be soft and plump, but cinnamon rolls sure as heck taste good.
Just for kicks, I flashed Tim the did you really just say that? stare, which prompted him to modify his statement. What he really meant was that I smelled like a cinnamon roll.
Even better.
Have you ever walked past a Cinnabon store in the mall? Yeah, you know what I’m talking about. The aroma is…enticing.
Anyways, this is my cinnamon bun-smelling secret.
I lather this stuff on like frosting. It smells soooo good!
If you’ve never tried Body Shop Body Butter, you’re missing out! It’s especially useful during the winter months when the air inside is so dry.
I also love the coconut scent. And yes, Tim has told me I smell like a coconut as well.
But we’re not talking about coconuts today. We’re talking about cinnamon.
More specifically, Cinnamon Streusel Protein Coffee Cake.
A delicious, moist, cinnamony, crumbly cake which is leaps and bounds better for you than anything from Starbucks.
This was my breakfast yesterday morning. And my midday snack. And my dessert last night.
Each slice contains 10 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and 165 calories.
But I challenge you to stop at just one slice.
Click here for the full recipe, turn on your oven, and go make your kitchen smell like a Cinnabon store.
But if you want to smell like a cinnamon roll, as apparently I do, recommend you stick with the body butter.
Lots of love to you all!
Do you wear lotions and perfumes that smell like food?
I love vanilla and coconut scents! I also remember buying a birthday cake scent at Bath & Body Works several years ago. I wanted to eat it!
What’s your favorite scent?
