Peppermint Bark

This may be the easiest holiday sweet treat out there! And it tastes pretty good too. :-)


2 bags white chocolate chips

2 t. pepermint extract

Candy cane pieces (about 1 cup)

1. Melt the chocolate chips on the stove in a double boiler. You can also microwave the chocolate, but make sure you stir every 30 seconds! If you don’t, the chocolate will burn!

2. Remove the saucepan or bowl from heat and stir in the extract and candy pieces. If you want, set aside some extra pieces to sprinkle on top. 

3. Pour chocolate mixture into a jelly roll pan (or 13 x 9 inch baking pan) lined with wax paper. Top with additional crushed peppermint candy. Chill in the refrigerator until firm, about 30 minutes. 

4. Break into pieces and ENJOY!
