The Fro Yo Foodie

Warning: If you ask me about frozen yogurt,  I will surely exhaust you with more details than you’d like to hear! No food makes me happier! It’s smooth, creamy, sweet, packs a calcium punch, and comes in a variety of flavors! It’s also loaded with sugar, but we’ll forget about that for now. :)   The obsession began in high school, when I was hired at TCBY (they serve some of the tastiest, creamiest frozen yogurt!…hence the name “The Country’s Best Yogurt”). When I started working, I was warned that I would grow increasingly tired of the stuff, and probably hate it in a matter of months. The exact opposite happened! My taste for fro yo became increasingly stronger, to the point that I HAD to have it every day…not just once, but twice or three times! I’d stop by the store on my days off to “say hi,” ahem, snatch a bowl of white chocolate mousse fro yo.

I went through major TCBY withdrawals when I moved to Washington DC for college. However, once I discovered T-Sweet’s in Georgetown, I knew I’d be okay. In the past year or two, my taste for fro yo has changed a bit, and now I prefer the tart stuff (aka Pinkberry and all the copy cats).
